Funds collected under this article shall be used for the payment of all costs in excess
of five hundred dollars ($500.00) which the City declares to be directly attributable
to the repair of a private sewer service. Said costs shall not include any charges
associated with the removal or replacement of any trees, shrubbery, plants, lawns,
sprinkler systems, or other landscaping features on public or private property; and
shall not be responsible for any expenses incurred in tunneling under and/or replacing
any hard surface improvements such as bituminous, concrete, or brick driveways, patios,
sprinkler systems, gas grills, utility lines, foundations, and any other surface or
subsurface improvements found on public or private property. Said costs shall include
charges associated with the removal and/or replacement of public streets, curbs and
walks.
